If you having been using the AVG CloudCare, you probably want a walkthrough of the interface. Hopefully, this video helps. In the video, we give a brief overview of how to use AVG CloudCare’s interface, Add exceptions, check scan reports, how to disable protection and re-enable protection.
AVG CloudCare Interface
The interface for AVG has had cosmetic changes over the years but has stayed the same from a functionality standpoint. The interface doesn’t have adds as the Free version of AVG. Once you click on the AVG icon, it shows all of the components of your antivirus and informs you if there are any problems.
Exceptions
Under the advanced settings in Avg, you can make and exceptions to the Antivirus program. This will allow you whitelist a program that is being flagged as a threat. Sometimes this happens if a program is not digitally signed or if the program is from a known good publisher.
Scans Schedule
Under Advanced Settings, you can also adjust your scan preferences. Chaing how invasive the antivirus is during its scans. The faster AVG scans your computer, the slower the performance on the computer will be. You will also be able to adjust the Schedule scan. This is helpful if you want your computers to can overnight at a certain time. If you are not leaving your computers on overnight, we will recommend adjusting the scan. Performing a regular scan will help keep your computer virus free.
Reports
After you open the AVG CloudCare interface, you will be able to take a look at the reports. This will show you when the antivirus has updated and what threats it found and how it was handle. This will give you insight into making sure your antivirus is working properly.
